Scientific Agitation is a program that takes the form of open calls, workshops, and dialogue spaces, focusing on the intersection of artistic and scientific practices in relation to contemporary ecologies, collaborative cultural productions, technological uses, and current social and climate challenges. The program, promoted and coordinated by UNIA, is activated and supported by Tekeando, with the collaboration of the CSIC and the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.

Through this collaboration, Scientific Agitation aims to promote significant transformations in contemporary educational, cultural, and scientific institutions, inviting them to rethink their boundaries from democratizing positions that ensure the conditions for people and communities to be key actors in the creation of fairer, more sustainable programs and policies focused on the common good, capable of responding to some of the challenges of our time, such as the climate and ecological crisis, social and economic inequality, the growing disinformation and polarization, and forced migrations and displacements.
